a is the width of the ellipse and b is the height. Values of x and y that satisfy this equation will trace out the ellipse (or superellipse if the power 2.5 is used). |
You can see the graph and print out values of x and y for your chosen shape. Simply enter the width and height desired (keep values between 50 and 500) and the Power (2.5 for a superellipse, but you can try others. Higher values will give a more flattened ellipse |
